Overview

Built to Strike. Engineered to Survive.

The Peregrin represents Nova’s answer to the growing demand for a versatile Razor-class fighter capable of operating across both vacuum and atmospheric environments with equal lethality.

With 4 dedicated medium-class weapon hardpoints, the Peregrin carries a generous weapons payload for a ship of its class — all four wing-mounted hardpoints deliver versatile firepower across engagement ranges.

Advanced maneuvering thruster technology gives the Peregrin a turn rate that pushes the very limits of what its pilot can physically withstand — making it the preferred choice for experienced dogfighters who value precision over brute force.

Lore & History

The Birth of the Peregrin

The Peregrin program was born out of Nova’s internal combat analysis initiative — codenamed Project Stiletto. When field data revealed that the majority of pilot casualties occurred within the first 12 seconds of engagement, Nova engineers set out to build a fighter that could survive that critical window through speed and maneuverability alone.

Three years and 47 prototype iterations later, the Peregrin emerged — a Razor-class airframe that could outmaneuver ships half its size while carrying enough firepower to challenge vessels twice its tonnage.

A Pilot’s Legend

The Peregrin earned its name during the Battle of Kessler Reach, where a flight of six Peregrin prototypes decimated an opposing squadron of 24 heavy fighters without a single loss — slicing through enemy formations with surgical precision.

Since then, the Peregrin has become the backbone of Nova’s fast response fleet. Elite squadrons compete fiercely for Peregrin allocations, and its silhouette has become a symbol of aerial superiority across contested systems.
